On July 22, 2021, the Adventist Hospital Palawan (AHP) held a simple yet meaningful ceremony celebrating “A Healthy Palawenyo’s” official launch at its campus. Chief Operations Officer Dr. Ian Kenneth Bermeo gave a brief speech on how much they are looking forward to it.

“We are looking forward to this program because we want to promote a healthy lifestyle and healthier living for all Palawenyos. During this COVID-19 pandemic, health has never been more important,” Bermeo said in his speech.

Palawan News’ management was also present during the launch. 

On Friday, July 30, 2021, Adventist Hospital Palawan (AHP) has launched the first episode of its online wellness series “A Healthy Palawenyo”. The series was exclusively aired on the Palawan News Facebook page as AHP’s official media partner.

The program was all about the 47th-month Nutrition Celebration. AHP Registered Nutritionist Dietitian-Ruvilyn A. Colongan highlighted the importance of the first 1000 days in a child’s life. She also talked about the value of breastfeeding and the roles of the families and the whole communities in the prevention of malnutrition among Filipinos.

AHP Director for Operational Excellence Jhonely J. Tero and Health Education Officer Shena Rose D. Tuting, Registered Nutritionist Dietitian hosted the first episode. The two of them are chosen as regular hosts for this health advocacy.
