A man lost his life after an accidental fall into the waters at Buliluyan Port in the early hours of Saturday, the Philippine Coast Guard in Palawan reported over the weekend.
The PCG District stated that the victim, Allah Almain, 22, of Sitio Camanga, Barangay Buliluyan, fell down the port’s slipway as he was urinating. It was reported to authorities by Barangay Kagawad Munding Cusasi around 1:50 a.m.
The Coast Guard Substation (CGSS) Buliluyan, with assistance from the 2nd Special Operations Unit-Maritime Group, immediately launched a search and rescue operation.

Following an intensive effort, Almain’s body was recovered near the port’s seabed at approximately 4:30 a.m. His remains were turned over to his family.
