Learning module containing obscene words create stir on FB

The Department of Education (DepEd) denied Friday it has approved a learning module for students circulating online that contains malicious word usage with sexual undertones.

In a statement released on Facebook, the education department said it has no role in the creation of the module.

A photo of a page in a Philosophy subject module showed a multiple choice-type of question where the answer choices used names that had sexual undertones or double meaning.

The DepEd said they have yet to distribute the department’s own modules for the opening of classes.

Meanwhile, the department also said they have already determined that the module came from a Catholic school in Zambales, and said it wil take action against the school.
