Three municipal police stations in Palawan have received a total of 40 newly appointed police officers who will undergo field training as part of their transition into active police service.
The Palawan Police Provincial Office (PPO) formally turned over the members of the Newly Appointed Police Non-Commissioned Officers (NAPNCOs) SIKLAB–TALA Class 2025-01 during a ceremony held June 28 at the provincial headquarters in Barangay Tiniguiban.
Under the deployment plan, 15 trainees were assigned to the El Nido Municipal Police Station, another 15 to the Narra Municipal Police Station, and 10 to the Roxas Municipal Police Station.
The trainees will undergo the Field Training Program (FTP), where they will perform actual police duties under the supervision of experienced Field Training Officers.
According to the Palawan PPO, the program is designed to help newly appointed officers translate classroom instruction into practical law enforcement experience while strengthening their knowledge, skills, and competencies.
“Through this program, the trainees will strengthen their knowledge, skills, and competencies while applying classroom learning in real-life law enforcement operations, preparing them to become disciplined, capable, and service-oriented police officers,” the Palawan PPO said.
The turnover and acceptance ceremony was conducted under the leadership of Provincial Director PCOL Joel D. Casupanan.
The Palawan PPO said the deployment forms part of its continuing efforts to develop professional and service-oriented police personnel capable of delivering responsive and community-centered policing throughout the province.
