In Bataraza, police personnel served a warrant of arrest against a 41-year-old farmer at the Bataraza Custodial Facility in Barangay Marangas. The suspect, a resident of Barangay Rio Tuba, is facing two counts of violation of Section 5(a) of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. Bail was set at ₱2,000 per count.

In Brooke’s Point, another warrant was served against a 34-year-old farmer from Balabac. The accused is facing multiple charges under RA 9262, including violations of Section 5(a) and Section 5(i), with bail set at ₱2,000 per count for two charges and ₱72,000 for another count. The suspect remains under the custody of police authorities.
