The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) joined the Pamelan Festival 2026 in Araceli, Palawan, using the celebration as a platform to promote environmental awareness and community participation in conservation efforts.
PCSDS participated in a coastal clean-up in Barangay Tinintinan with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Blue Alliance, local officials, and residents.
The agency also conducted an Information, Education, and Communication campaign on Republic Act No. 9175, or the Chainsaw Act of 2002, attended by barangay officials, fisherfolk, and community members.
According to PCSDS, the activities highlighted environmental protection, inter-agency cooperation, and sustainable development during the festival celebration.
