The Bataraza District Hospital, together with the Provincial Government of Palawan and partners, will offer free surgical operations on February 26 and 27. The initiative is in coordination with Sui Generis Missions, Cebu Doctors University Hospital, the Philippine Hernia Society, and other sponsors.
Patients interested in availing of the procedures may register and secure a medical clearance at the Outpatient Department of participating PGP hospitals from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Registration at Bataraza District Hospital will be open from February 19 to 25.
Those registering must bring two valid IDs or a birth certificate, or a marriage certificate if applicable, as well as their PhilHealth ID or MDR.
For more information, patients can call the BDH Hotline at 0917-319-0948 or visit the hospital’s Facebook page, Bataraza District Hospital.
Officials said the program aims to provide access to essential surgical care for residents who might not otherwise afford it, highlighting the provincial government’s commitment to public health and community well-being.
