Only 46% of adult Filipinos indicated high levels of satisfaction with their romantic lives in the most recent Social Weather Survey performed from November 24 to 30, 2025, being the lowest recorded percentage since the survey’s inception in 2004.

The nationwide survey of 1,200 adults revealed that 40% of respondents believed they could be happier, while 14% reported having no romantic relationships.

The percentage of individuals who could be happier increased by 4 points in comparison to 2024, while the percentage of individuals without a romantic partner decreased by 4 points.

Married women were the most satisfied with their love lives (57%), followed by those who had live-in partners (45%) and those who had neither husband nor partner (22%).

Among men, 55% said they were married, 50% said they had a live-in partner, and 28% said they didn’t have a partner.

Happiness went up 9 points for men who don’t have a partner (from 19%), stayed about the same for men who live with partners, and went down 6 points for married men.
