Narra LGU’s two new buses set to arrive next week

Two buses purchased by the local government of Narra are expected to arrive next week, completing a batch of heavy equipment earlier acquired through a ₱120 million loan from the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).

Jojo Gastanes, spokesperson of Mayor Gerandy Danao and incoming vice mayor of the municipality, said the buses will be used for official trips by Narra LGU personnel and other transactions that require large-capacity vehicles.

He added that, to his knowledge, each unit costs around ₱6–7 million. Four vehicles are expected to arrive next week in total, including one truck and a motor grader, completing the set of equipment purchased abroad for the use of the local government.

Gastanes also noted that this move is part of improving public service in Narra, as the municipality will now have its own buses and heavy equipment to use for various operational needs.
