A man was arrested during a buy-bust operation against illegal drugs conducted by authorities in Barangay District II, Poblacion, Brooke’s Point, Palawan on the evening of March 30.
The suspect was identified by the Palawan Police Provincial Office (PalPPO) as alias “Pangging,” 44, farmer, and a resident of Barangay Tub-Tub in the said town.
Confiscated from the suspect was a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 5.70 grams, with an estimated value of ₱38,760.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
