A youth group from Barangay Old Guinlo, Taytay conducted a clean-up drive along their coastal area last Sunday, August 1.

Kasama Tayo Youth Organization-Old Guinlo organized the event, with the assistance of barangay staff and officials led by captain Delia Fajardo.

Ryan Rhie Sarmiento, secretary of their organization, said they conduct a community service every month in their barangay, focusing on environmental programs that will help their fellow youth.

“One of our objectives is to protect the welfare of our community in terms of nature’s preservation and awareness. Sama-sama kaming mga youth dito sa aming barangay to clean our coastal areas at soon marami pa kaming gagawin dito upang makatulong pa sa aming komunidad, and to engage sa mga ganitong activity,” Sarmiento said.
