The Western Philippines University (WPU) has postponed its admission examination for the 1st semester of the current Academic Year 2020-2021.
In a notice released on June 27, the WPU said the postponement is in accordance with the current guidelines on health safety.
“Bilang pagsunod at pagtugon kaugnay sa mga alituntunin ng modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) sa Palawan, ang pagbibigay ng admission exam para sa unang semestre AY 2020-2021 ay pansamantala munang ipinagpaliban mula pa noong Hunyo 22, 2020,” according to the statement.
A source at the university told Palawan News there will be consultation among officials on whether to hold the examinations at a later date or forego it completely.
WPU advised those applicants who are supposed to take the admission examinations to wait for a new schedule or any announcement regarding the matter.
“Ang lahat po ng nakatakdang kumuha ng pagsusulit ay pinapayuhang mag-antabay ng panibagong iskedyul o anunsiyo patungkol dito,” WPU stated in its official Facebook page.
