The work from home arrangements of the personnel and teachers of the Schools Division Office-Palawan (SDO Palawan) is extended until, June 30 due to the newly reported cases of COVID-19 positive in the province.
In a memorandum, signed by Schools Division Superintendent Natividad Bayubay, CESO VI, dated June 19, it stated that due to the new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the province, all the personnel including the teachers are advised to adhere to the DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2020, Revised Guidelines on Alternative Work Arrangements as it is to be in effect.

The memorandum also stated that work from home arrangements will be until the end of the month, June 30.
Grace Estefano, Division Information Officer of the SDO, told Palawan News that while teachers and personnel are on work from home arrangements, they are still expected to maximize the time.
“Moreover, we keep on reminding all personnel to observe the minimum health standard and precautionary measures as they serve our stakeholders,” she added.
Bayubay said that the main priority of the division is the health and safety of its personnel.
“The health and safety of our teaching and non-teaching workforce is the priority of DepEd Palawan,” she said.
