Over 200 residents and members of various government and non-government organizations joined Saturday the “Indak Para sa Kapayapaan” aerobic fitness program at the City Baywalk in a bid to step up public trust on the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and promote physical education to foster self-discipline and socialization.

The Zumba dance for peace was spearheaded by the Western Command (WESCOM) on March 23, 2019, through the 6th Civil Relations Group (6CRG) which is under the leadership of Major General Bienvenido Datuin of the Civil Relations Service (CRS) of the AFP.

A press statement released by the 6CRG on Monday said the fitness event for peace was one of the post-activities in connection with the 122nd founding anniversary of Philippine Army (PA), 43rd WESCOM founding anniversary and launching of #AFPyoucanTRUST campaign.
