The Western Command has assured adequate security for the Batang Pinoy National Finals 2019 to be held in Puerto Princesa City, from August 25 to 31.
Lt. Col. Stephen Penetrante, spokesperson of the Western Command (WESCOM), said Friday they are prepared for the task, including the provision of additional medical support.
“We provided medical team to support as augmentation to city health office,” he said.
Penetrante said they will be coordinating with other security agencies for the task.
“We are working hand-in-hand with the other agencies, joint security ang ating mga security sectors at ating mga government agencies and WESCOM. Part of the government agencies is there to support the activity of the government both city and provincial,” he said.
