The Puerto Princesa City Water District announced a series of scheduled water supply interruptions on the last week of the month for maintenance activities in some parts of its service areas.

According to the advisory of Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD), the areas from Macasaet pumping station of Barangay Irawan to Marcelo Compound, Delta P Power Plant, and Honda Bay road in Brgy. Sta. Lourdes including Tagburos Aplaya in Brgy. Tagburos experienced service interruption that started last July 28 up to July 30, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

The relocation of stub-out and water meter due to road widening along Purok Visapa and Purok Magsasaka, Brgy. Sta. Lourdes is the reason of the interruption.

Meanwhile, areas along Lomboy Street including SNMI HOA, Joseph D’ Saint Subdivision, Ildefonso Subdivision, NAPOCOR Village, Carlo Ville Subdivsion, IHAI Subdivision, Greenfields HOA, and Sea Breeze HOA in Brgy. San Jose were affected from 8:00 pm last night  4:00 a.m. today.

The PPCWD explained that the interruption is due to the conduct of the district metering area activity.

The city water district advised consumers in the affected locations to store enough water during the conduct of the maintenance and expansion activity.
