A businessman wanted for theft was arrested in El Nido on Wednesday, June 12, by operatives of the municipal police.
A spot report shared to Palawan News by Police Regional Office (PRO) MIMAROPA spokesperson PCol. Socrates Faltado identified him as No. 3 most wanted Edrex S. Santillan, 36-years old, married, and a resident of Brgy. Buena Suerte, El Nido, where he was also arrested.
Santillan’s arrest as one of the most wanted persons in the municipal level was carried out under the “Manhunt Charlie” of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
The spot report added that he was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Ma. Theresa P. Mangcucang of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC)-El Nido-Linapacan on January 15, 2019.
The report did not share any other details regarding his case.
A bail of P10,000 has been set for his temporary liberty.
He is now under the custody of the El Nido Municipal Police Station (MPS) for the proper disposition of his case.
