A two-storey house was destroyed in Barangay Malcampo, Roxas town after a wayward Isuzu van rammed into it Monday.
The van’s driver reportedly failed to shift to a low gear while ascending a dangerously steep portion of the road and lost control of the steering.
Palawan Provincial Police Office (PPPO) spokesperson Capt. Ric Ramos said the involved parties in the accident were Jude Michael Besis, 22, the driver of the van and a resident of Brgy. Sicsican, and the owner of the house, Alexander Conde, 56.
Ramos said the van met the accident on its way to Brgy. Poblacion, Roxas from Puerto Princesa City.
No one was reported hurt in the incident.
