In a bid to bring back the pride of the city’s old airport, an inter-agency cleanup drive was held in the place in Barangay Bancao-Bancao early Saturday morning led by personnel and staff of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), city government’s Oplan Linis, and the Tactical Operations Wing West (TOW West).
The cleanup drive had the theme, “United as One for a Safer and Cleaner Puerto Princesa International Airport”.
A statement released by the TOW West said the cleanup drive was done to also support the call of the City Tourism Office (CTO) to return the glory of the old airport which is an important part of the history of Puerto Princesa.
