The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) on Thursday officiallly turned over to the city government the modular floating dock at the tourism port of Honda Bay.
Aileen Amurao, city tourism officer, said the dock was installed during the last quarter of 2018 and serves about 500 tourists per day.
She said the modular dock is part of her office thrust to ensure the safety and security of tourists.
Amurao added that TIEZA is studying how it can improve the entire wharf facility of Honda Bay.
Iyang Honda Bay wharf, nag-propose din tayo, nagre-request din tayo sa TIEZA for the entire development of the area. Gusto natin na ma-upgrade at talagang quality ang services natin,” she said.
