An out of school teen was found dead by the police in the yard of a boarding house in Barangay Poblacion, Taytay, Wednesday afternoon.

Alias “Boboy”, 16, a resident of San Lorenzo in the same barangay, was found lying dead on the ground between the boarding house and a broken bamboo fence, said Taytay municipal police chief Capt. Roel Tattao.

Initial police investigation said Boboy was found by Angelica Matulac, a rural health unit nurse at around 5:10 p.m. in San Lorenzo.

Tattao said the case is still under investigation and is waiting for the autopsy report on the teen’s body.

Tattao said the boy was reported lost for one day, but they could not understand why worms would be found eating at his eyes and head.

Tattao is assuring the family that they will still conduct a follow up investigation to determine the reason behind Boboy’s death.
