A 16-year-old boy was arrested by the police in Brooke’s Point for allegedly raping his seven-year-old neighbor.

Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station (MPS) officer-in-charge P/Capt. Dhayrius Redondo said the suspect entered the house of the girl, offered money and sexually assaulted her.

After the rape, the teen suspect immediately fled but was seen by the victim’s aunt.

He was arrested after the aunt sought the help of village officials and the police. A case of statutory rape had already been filed against him.
