Jomel Ordas of Palawan Comelec said the decrease in the number of registered voters was because they deleted the names of those who do not have biometrics, those who did not vote in the last two consecutive regular elections, those whose name were entered twice in the Comelec record, deceased and those who transferred to other towns.

Ordas assured that there will be no ‘flying voters” in the May 2016 elections because of the biometrics.
