A suspect in a hacking incident in Taytay on Sunday, February 10, was arrested by personnel of the town’s police station.

A spot report sent to Palawan News by Police Chief Inspector Ric Ramos of the Palawan Provincial Police Office (PPO) identified the arrested suspect as Arnold Argarin, 24, a resident of Sitio Nalbot, Barangay Poblacion, Taytay.

He was arrested on the same day he allegedly hacked Jupiter Dalinog, 33, a resident of the same barangay.

Dalinog, who was able to defend himself, said Argarin hacked him without any provocation. He was able to defend himself, but he sustained wounds on his hands.

A charge for attempted murder had already been filed against Argarin at the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.
