The city government and the organizers of the Subaraw Biodiversity Festival are inviting residents to visit and buy from the agro-trade fair “Tabuan ig Barakalan” which features activities and products that promote ecosystem stability.

The agro-trade fair, which opened on November 6 as part of the biodiversity festival, will end on November 11 at the park in front of the City Coliseum.

“Lahat ay iniimbitahan natin na tangkilin ang produktong sariling atin. Marami tayong mga aktibidad na nagpapakita ng pagmamahal natin sa kalikasan. Sama-sama tayo sa pagdiriwang ng Subaraw [Biodiversity] Festival,” he said.

The fair is organized for through the City Agriculture Office (CAO) and the Puerto Princesa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated (PPCCII) with the Barakalan Group and other support departments.

Bayron said various Palawan agricultural products, hand-made products, and other commodities are sold at the fair.

He added the public can witness both the raw and end-products.

Since last year, Tabuan ig Barakalan has been promoting “no single-use plastics” where every stall only uses “paper bags, net bags, and reusable bags” in selling their products to customers.
