The Provincial Sports Division (PSD) is now preparing for the kickoff in April of the provincial government’s Summer Sports Clinic (SSC) in two towns that have the facilities to train athletes in various sports.

Sports and games inspector Francis Nemenzo of the PSD said the sports clinic will be held in Roxas and Brooke’s Point towns from April to May for beginners, and intermediate and advanced level athletes.

“Sa summer clinic, meron tayong beginner, intermediate, and advanced level.

He said interested students can choose among boxing, sepak takraw, basketball, and table tennis. They can also participate in track and field events, including running races.

Nemenzo said the provincial government wants students to be active in various sports through the SSC because they can improve health and help them avoid drugs and other habits that can cause irreparable harm or damage.
