SOFRONIO ESPAÑOLA, Palawan — The 1st Palawan Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st PPMFC) has reached out to Pala’wan indigenous peoples (IP) in the secluded area of Sitio Naltep, Barangay Labog to deliver slippers and toys for them and food packs for their parents.

P/Lt. Col. Eldie Bantal said the move is part of their “Sagip Katutubo” project, which aims to provide some basic needs of IP families in the province.

“Inaabot natin lahat ng mga pamilyang katutubo para matulungan sila at nakita natin kung gaano kasaya ang mga bata that time noong makasuot sila ng tsinelas na handog natin sa kanila,” Bantal said.

Bantal said 50 relief packages packed with rice and other necessities were handed to their parents in the area.
