A man was arrested for illegal possession of shabu in Purok Rosal, Barangay Poblacion in San Vicente town, Wednesday.

P/Capt. Ric Ramos identified the suspect as Felrito Salundaga Malapit, 34, a carpenter in Brgy. Caruray, San Vicente.

Malapit was having a heated argument with his live-in partner when personnel from the San Vicente Municipal Police station arrived to respond. The authorities tried to pacify Malapit and his live-in partner but Malapit resisted resulting in the apprehension by authorities.

The cops found three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and will face charges from violation of Section 11, Article II of the Republic Act 9165.
