ODIONGAN, Romblon, Oct 4 (PIA) — The Department of Social Welfare and (DSWD)-Mimaropa has finished training enumerators to be assigned in the province of Romblon for the upcoming Listahanan 3rd Round (L3) Household Assessment.

The training was conducted on October 2-6 in Haliwood Inn, Odiongan, Romblon which aims to teach Listahanan workers with new concepts, strategies and supervision skills for the actual field deployment.

Listahanan, which started in 2009, is a government mechanism to identify the database of poor households every four years.

The 2019 household assessment targets about 65,436 households in Romblon, a part of the 622,230 target households regionwide.

“There are 186,625 target households in Oriental Mindoro; 95,120 in Occidental Mindoro; 50,611 in Marinduque; 65,436 in Romblon and 224,438 households in Palawan,” says Listahanan Regional Coordinator Ernie Jarabejo in a press release by the DSWD-Mimaropa.

However, the household target per province may increase or decrease depending on the actual number of households assessed.

Listahanan 3rd Round (L3) Household Assessment is expected to kick off this month up to December.

Meanwhile, DSWD-Mimaropa also finished training field workers last September 2-6 in Metro Manila, who will fill up the positions of Area Coordinators and Supervisors for the L3 Household Assessment. (PJF/PIA-Mimaropa/Romblon)
