Quezon town to launch EO 70 campaign to address insurgency

Town mayor Joselito Ayala said Tuesday that the information campaign will begin with a launching ceremony on February 13 in Barangay Quinlogan where it will be started. The info drive will cover all 14 barangays in Quezon.

QUEZON, Palawan — The municipal government here will be carrying out an information drive next week to step up public awareness on Executive Order No. 70, which aims to address the local insurgency.

Town mayor Joselito Ayala said Tuesday that the information campaign will begin with a launching ceremony on February 13 in Barangay Quinlogan where it will be started. The info drive will cover all 14 barangays in Quezon.

He said the campaign was the result of information from the military that said some parts of Quezon are positive for the presence of armed rebels.
