A fisherman from Quezon was arrested by police authorities Saturday for dynamite fishing.
P/Maj. Lodell Lota, Quezon Municipal Police Station Chief identified the suspect as Arwin Alicos Azares, 35 years old from Barangay Alfonso XIII.
According to the report sent by Lota, the suspect was alerted to the police by a concerned citizen after he tried to sell dynamited fish at the town market.
Azares was brought to the station for investigation. Several pieces of talakitok fish that he was selling were sent to Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources as a sample for laboratory examination.
