Municipal police operatives in Quezon are now conducting a manhunt operation against two suspects in the murder of a 25-year old fisherman shortly before noon Friday.
PO3 Ricky Javarez of the town’s municipal police station identified the suspects as Joel Landong, 32, and a certain Rey, 22. Both are wanted for the hacking to death of a certain Larry Crayon at Sitio Bliss, Alfonso XIII.
Police said the victim sustained 21 hack wounds in different parts of the body including the neck.
The suspects reportedly escaped towards Bataraza town following the killing.
He said no one among the residents in Bliss they spoke to, could say what prompted the suspects to kill the victim.
“Walang makapagsabi kung bakit kasi magkakasama daw sila,” he said.
