A pursuit operation to arrest the unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects in the murder of a Palawan Provincial Mining and Regulatory Board (PMRB) team leader was launched by the municipal police last week in Narra.
A report released by the Provincial Police Office (PPO) said the pursuit operation was ordered on November 30 to look for the suspects who shot and killed 51-year old Rodolfo de Guzman in Barangay Princess Urduja, Narra, on the same day.
De Guzman suffered several gunshots on the head. Witnesses who saw the shooting said two men riding a motorcycle murdered him around 11:10 a.m. outside a carinderia where he was taking his lunch.
Four empty shells of a .45 pistol were recovered from the crime scene by police investigators, said the spot report.
