Members of the Senior Citizens Affairs in Puerto Princesa City gathered for a day of fun, entertainment, and learning at the Fab & Fit @ 60 at SM City Puerto Princesa.
The Fab & Fit @ 60 is a program of SM Cares for elderly care, which aimed to provide a venue for Senior Citizens to show off their talents, to have a comfortable place to get together, and to conduct their activities at SM enjoyably.
Part 1 of the program included talks on Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyle for the Elderly administered by Ms. Grace Parales and Ms. Mary Jane Cabuhat from the City Health Office.
The second part is a Dance Contest open for all groups of Seniors with at least five members. The Senior Citizens Association (SCA) of Bgy. San Pedro won the contest followed by SCAs of Bgy. Maunlad and Bgy. San Manuel, respectively.
SM Cares, a division of SM Foundation Inc., under the Senior Citizen Program headed by Committee Chairman Danny Chavez, spearheaded the event in cooperation with the local committee at SM City Puerto Princesa.
The Seniors Day at the Mall will be a bi-monthly activity in SM City Puerto Princesa.
