The online enrollment of the Palawan State University (PSU) is expected start in 2020, Dr. Ramon Docto, PSU president, said Monday.

Docto said their contractor will start the system of online enrollment that is due for completion next year.

“Maybe next year baka matapos na natin. May mga lumapit na rin sa atin and we have to have some agreement on how we can implement the e-enrollment,” Docto said.

Docto said the online enrollment will be operational on the second semester of academic year 2018-2019.

“We are looking for the system, mayron na kaming mga nakontrata na contractor on internet systems na ito yong magproseso ng ating e-enrollment,” Docto pointed out.

He said that compared to the past years, the process of enrollment and the lines for processing have sped up.

The PSU has alloted P10 million from its general appropriations fund from the Commission on Higher Education for the online server that is major equipment for the project.

The project was planned years ago but the implementation has been delayed because of suppliers, Docto said.
