The provincial government is inviting Palawan locals to participate in an essay writing and poster making contest, as part of its observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

Both contests have two divisions — junior and senior. The Junior Division is open to ages 14-19, while the Senior Division is for ages 20-25 years old. Entries may only be submitted via e-mail on or before June 25.

This year’s theme is: “Better Knowledge for Better Care.” Interested participants may submit their works to on or before June 25. More details on the contests may be found on the CELP’s official Facebook page.

The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) is celebrated worldwide every June 26th.
