SOFRONIO ESPAÑOLA, Palawan — The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Palawan Irrigation Management Office (PIMO) will implement a P30-million small irrigation project (SIP) to help farmers in Barangay Panitian in this municipality.

Panitian barangay captain Fred Gatunggay said over the weekend that irrigation project will help farmers in their area improve their harvests.

Gatunggay said it will be a 5-kilometer irrigation system project from Bidang dam down to the rice fields in Panitian.
