Davao Rep. Paolo Duterte has donated some 1,000 rapid diagnostic test (RDT) kits and 5,000 face masks to Palawan, according to the provincial government.

Provincial information officer Winston Arzaga said they also received a separate donation of 500 face masks from the Manila Golf Club and Diamond Motors Corporation.

“Marami tayong natatanggap na donations at within this week, directly mapupunta doon sa mga hospitals natin sa probinsya para sigurado na hindi mauubusan,” Arzaga said.

The province earlier received some 800 RDTs and 25,000 face masks from Hainan, China.

Last week, San Miguel Corporation donated 693 boxes of corned beef; Coca-cola Beverages Philippines Inc. gave carbonated drinks, and SM Foundation also donated personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies, surgical masks, alcohol, raincoat, nitrile gloves and shoe cover for the frontliners.
