Water supply will be interrupted in certain parts of Barangay San Pedro in Puerto Princesa City on Monday owing to relocation work that was postponed last week due to bad weather.
The Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD), in an issued advisory, said the affected areas are Peneyra Road, Navalta Road, Jalandoon Road, and Paguia Road in Brgy. San Pedro, starting at 8 p.m. on September 13 (Monday) to 3 a.m. on September 14 (Tuesday).
The relocation work will pave the way for the transfer of tapping of three stub-out units impacted by the construction of a chlorine line at the Peneyra Pumping Station in Brgy. San Pedro.
“Ang stub-out, doon naka-connect ‘yong mga metro ng tubig. Kapag nag-install mamaya ng chlorine line, baka matatamaan ‘yong mga stub-out kaya need ilipat,” information officer Jenn Rausa explained in a separate interview with Palawan News.
The city water district urged residents in the impacted neighborhoods and surrounding areas to stock up on water they can use throughout the relocation process.
Meanwhile, PPCWD apologized for the delayed response and unanswered queries sent through Facebook messenger since Thursday, September 9, due to an internet connection problem experienced.
Consumers may extend their concerns through PPCWD hotline numbers: 0917-310-5282 or 0961-586-7294
