A police officer died after hitting an illegally parked Isuzu bus along Pablico Road, Barangay Tiniguiban, Tuesday evening.
Police authorities identified the persons involved in the incident as P/MSg. Arcel Villa Alimane, 35, a resident of Barangay Tagburos and driver of a Kawasaki Fury motorcycle, and Edgar Abing Espinosa, 26, a resident of the area and driver of Eduardo Isuzu jeepney bus.
Police investigation disclosed that the Isuzu bus was parked on the road without any signal light.
Alimane, on the other hand, rammed into the parked Isuzu bus while traversing Pablico Road going to the national highway.
Alimane was brought to the Adventist Hospital Palawan for emergency treatment but was declared dead on arrival by attending physician, Dr. Chrian Ray Zamoranos.
The information was disclosed by P/Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA.
