PASWI to hold ASEAN training on child protection in Puerto

The Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc.’ (PASWI) will conduct an  ASEAN Training on Child Protection as part of its 70th Anniversary and Biennial Convention in Puerto Princesa City.

This will be a 3-day conference from October 8-10, 2018, back-to-back with its anniversary celebration.

Expected to attend the event will be social workers, educators, policy makers, program managers, and practitioners on child protection.

The training will be divided into the following main themes: (a) Policy and Program Development; (b) Monitoring and Evaluation; (c) Evidence-based Research and Policy Implications; (d) Strengthening Advocacy and Community Participation.

PASWI will be assisted by focal persons from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
