The municipality of Brooke’s Point has put up a P50,000 reward to anyone who can provide information for the capture of the suspects behind motorcycle thefts.
Mayor Mary Jean Feliciano noted there has been a series of motorcycle thefts around the town, and has warned residents to be aware and careful.
Feliciano also sought the help of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Marine Battalion Landing Team-4 (MBLT-4), and others in being vigilant against the unknown suspects.
She said complaints from residents whose motorcycles had been stolen, including one parked outside the Municipal Building, are piling up and should be resolved immediately.
Among the establishments that had also been burglarized include the Brooke’s Resort that lost a speaker and an amplifier.
Another house in the Poblacion District 1 was also burglarized on June 14 where three laptops were taken.
