Personnel of the local Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested recently an employee of the city government’s Oplan Linis Program for allegedly selling shabu to its undercover agent in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Manuel.

An enforcement agency official who declined to be named identified the suspect as city government employee Jhon-John M. Lebios, a resident of Brgy. San Isidro in Puerto Princesa City.

He was arrested on August 9 along Solid Road, San Manuel, said the PDEA agent.

The PDEA agent said that in exchange for P700, their undercover personnel was able to purchase a shabu sachet from Lebios that was hidden inside a double mint candy can.

Lebios was under surveillance for days before he was arrested.

“Last week pa nagsimula ang surveillance namin sa kanya. Nakapag-test buy na din kami at positibo naman ang naunang lakad namin. Bago namin ‘yan nahuli, trinabaho muna talaga namin,” the anti-drug agent said.

Two more sachets of suspected shabu were also confiscated from Lebios, including a black sling bag, aluminum foil, black pouch, six pieces of tooters, and a bundle of plastic sachets.

A case for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 12 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 has been filed against the suspected shabu pusher.
