SOFRONIO ESPAÑOLA, Palawan — The rural health unit (RHU) here is monitoring the progress of a female overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who has opted to undergo home quarantine after arriving from Shanghai, China on February 4.

RHU Nurse Cathy Barroma told Palawan News they will be monitoring the progress of the OFW worker for two weeks.

She said the person’s monitoring period will end on February 18, “Kung saan kung wala naman syang makikitang sintomas kagaya ng ubo at sipon pati lagnat, ibig sabihin hindi na sya isasailalim sa people under investigation”.

She said part of their health monitoring is checking the person’s body temperature two times a day.
