Great news for all Pokémon fans as two of its highly anticipated games will be soon within reach. Pokémon Unite will be available on Android and iOS on September 22, 2021, and mobile gamers are starting to get excited. It is a five-versus-five MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game that was released first in July but is only available for the Nintendo Switch.

The Pokémon Company shared on their live stream that you can now pre-register for the game on devices (iOS, Android) and you will be notified when it’s officially available to download. Pre-registering will give you early special rewards!

With gameplay related to other popular MOBA games like League of Legends: Wild Rift and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Pokémon Unite will somehow offer the same team battle experience. But of course, it comes with unique mechanics that is originally available only in the game.

Two teams with five players each will battle across a two-half map. Players score points for their team by defeating “wild” Pokémon a non-player character and moving towards control points. However, if the player gets hit by an attack while scoring, they will be interrupted and must try again. As the game progresses, much stronger wild Pokémon will appear on the battlefield. Defeating one of these will give the player a unique effect based on which Pokémon is defeated. Match time is limited and the team with the highest total amount of score at the end of the match wins.

The excitement never stops, as Nintendo and The Pokémon Company released the game video trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Game Freak, it was first announced in February 2021 as the part of the Pokémon 25th Anniversary event and the fans already claiming that this might be the best Pokémon game ever.

A big development on the Pokémon gameplay because it will feature an open-world setting where you can free-run, explore, discover and catch wild Pokémon throughout the game map, it was heavily inspired by “The Legend of Zelda: A Breath of the Wild” (a game also published by Nintendo) reimagined into a Pokémon game.

The game is set in a bygone era, where Poké Balls were just made out of wood and puffed off steam when catching one. Players are tasked to complete the first-ever “Pokédex” in the game region. The mounting mechanic on flying, surfing, and riding off a Pokémon is an incredible improvement offering a new game experience.

And for the first time in the Pokémon series, the player character can now take damage from wild Pokémon. If the player hits points depletes, the player will blackout and will recover at the base camp.

The game is scheduled to be released worldwide on January 28, 2022, and will be available for Nintendo Switch.
