Filipino-American actress Shay Mitchell, who rose to Hollywood fame as the fictional character Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars and Peach Salinger in the psycho-thriller series You, called El Nido “paradise” after extending her stay in the Philippines last week to enjoy a short vacation there.
Mitchelle arrived in the Philippines on January 13 with actor Penn Dayton Badgley (Joe Goldberg in You) for a fan event to promote their Netflix series.
In her Instagram account with 22.3 million followers, Mitchell posted a video clip showing Lagen Island Resort, a photo of her self in a two-piece swimwear and of a sunset in Pangulasian Island Resort.
Her sunset photo posted on January 20 was captioned “Perfect view to end the day.”
The actress whose mother is a Filipina said it is a must to visit Palawan when one is in the Philippines.
“Couldn’t go to the Philippines without visiting the islands… so I did,” she said.
