Monsoon rains will continue to prevail over the country as tropical storm Hanna exited on Friday morning.

Gener Quitlong, weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said the concentration of clouds are located in northern and central Luzon.

“Itong bagyong si Hanna ay direkta pa rin nitong napapalakas o nahahatak itong southwest monsoon kung saan nakakaapekto ito sa buong bansa,” he said Saturday.

The region of MIMAROPA, including Palawan, will have cloudy skies with chances of scattered rains, lightning, and thunderstorm.

The forecast temperature in Puerto Princesa City will start from 26 to 30 degrees Celsius on Saturday.

The sea condition in the seaboard of the province is at rough to very rough, PAGASA said.
