Missing Aborlan woman found dead

The victim was identified in a police report as Rhodora Dioso Ayunan, 45, a former on-the-job trainee of Bantay Palawan Task Force and a resident of Barangay Mabini.

The Aborlan police on Thursday recovered the dead body of a missing person buried in the property of a suspect whose identity was disclosed to the police by his own relative.

The victim was identified in a police report as Rhodora Dioso Ayunan, 45, a former on-the-job trainee of Bantay Palawan Task Force and a resident of Barangay Mabini.

The police identified the suspect as a certain Nestor Milo Lacap, 49, a former security guard and resident of Barangay Ramon Magsaysay, Aborlan. He was arrested and detained for questioning following the incident.

Ayunan was reported missing on May 25 and was last seen in Barangay Gogognan, Aborlan.

Police investigators got a break on the case after receiving a tip from the suspect’s own nephew, a certain Mark Anthony Elardo Lacap, who reportedly told them that the suspect killed the victim and buried her body inside the compound of his property.

The body was recovered by the members of the Aborlan MPS on June 18, 2020, at 4:00 PM Aborlan MPS. A post mortem examination on the body of the victim was conducted by Doctor Fidel Salazar, Municipal Health Officer.
