The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) MIMAROPA is inviting the public to join the 2021 #MineResponsibility Stakeholders’ Forum to discuss how different stakeholders will handle and address the issues and concerns in mining in the region.

The bureau will virtually host the two-day forum on September 16 to 17 via Zoom and Facebook live from 8 a.m. to 12 noon with partner agencies, companies, and MGB.

The stakeholders’ forum will focus on environmental protection and enhancement, protection and sustainable development of mineworkers, mining communities, and indigenous peoples, and communicating the benefits of the minerals industry.

The topics will be covered by resource persons from national government agencies, local government units, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
