May kabuuang 200 estudyante ng kolehiyo mula sa Barangay Princess Urduja sa munisipyo ng Narra ang nakatanggap ng iba’t ibang phone accessories mula sa Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), na kanilang magagamit sa distance learning ngayong panahon ng pandemya, araw ng Sabado, December 4.

Ang bawat estudyante ay nakatanggap ng phone stand/holder at headphone, kasama rin ang alcohol at mga face mask bilang bahagi ng pag-iingat sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Abegail Ubo, SK chairperson ng barangay, naglaan sila ng P100,000 mula sa kanilang pondo upang maipatupad ang kanilang programa na magbebenipisyo sa kanilang mga kapwa kabataan sa barangay.

“Yong programa ay nasa ikalawang taon na, which was started last year due to distance, modular, and online mode of learning. “Sana All Program,” yong activity name kasi marami kaming nakikitang mga kabataan na nagsha-share ng post tungkol sa mga gamit na may kinalaman sa online classes. That’s why we launched this program to aid their needs. Alam natin na mahirap talaga ang learning modality at mas mahirap pa kung wala silang magagamit,” pahayag ni Ubo, December 6.

“Last year, we gave load assistance, tripod, alcohol, and face masks, while this year we distributed cellphone stand/holder, mini headphones, gamepads, as well as alcohol and facemask pa rin, para naman kahit papaano ay ma-lessen yung kanilang burden sa kanilang pag-aaral,” dagdag niya.

Bago matapos ang kanilang programa sa barangay covered gym, ay nagsagawa rin ng raffle draw kung saan tatlong home wifi ang napanalunan ng mga nabunot.
